Outside of making decisions gameplay of Until Dawn is primarily exploration based with a number of quick-time events and clues which can provide additional information for decisions or add more depth to the story before concluding with one of the hundreds of possible endings. These decision points include basic interactions with the environment or broader moral choices that directly or indirectly impact on the fate of the main characters. To add further weight to your decisions Until Dawn automatically saves after decisions so each is final. This results in two players having two completely different experiences in Until Dawn due to the major and minor decisions they make that impact the immediate and long term story path. At the heart of this adventure is player choice where you'll make decisions that will ripple throughout the story which create a butterfly effect.
